Site Based Management Team

The Site Based Management Team (SBMT) holds monthly meetings.  Any parent, teacher, or student is welcome, and we are currently actively recruiting teachers and parents to get involved in helping the school meet our goals and provide feedback on important decisions.

The Team meets in the Library before or after school.  New members will decide meeting time. A zoom link can be provided for parents if it is helpful.  The link will be posted on the home page of the Hutch Tech Website, just before the meeting begins.

The SBMT is a great way for stakeholders to communicate, provide input, and work on improving our school.  If you have any questions, feel free to come to the next meeting!

Third Marking Period Grades Close on 4/19/24

If your child is failing any classes, or not performing at a level preparing them for graduation, college, or careers, please know that the school is open for academic support every single morning and afternoon except Friday p.m.

The Tech Success Program provides academic support in every subject area, and any student is welcome to attend either before or after school.

Please help your child understand that their learning is their own, and they have the power to control the outcome of their educational success.

See the home page for the daily schedule of academic support:  Tech Success Program.

Every Hutch Tech Student Should Join a Club or Sport

Research shows that adolescents need to have a firm sense of belonging at school to be successful.  If your child does not stay after school for extra help, clubs, or sports, they are missing out on a key component of their education.

Hutch Tech offers over 20 clubs and several sports each season.  It is expected that students participate in something consistently while they are a student at Hutch Tech.

If you need help directing your student to available clubs, please email Mrs. Brandjes at ebrandjes@buffaloschools.org or contact your child's Guidance Counselor.
