Homework Policy
Homework is always due the next day. Homework is worth 1-3 points. Points are awarded for an honest effort on the entire assignment, not just on accuracy. All work must be shown to receive full credit. Absent homework will be accepted up to one week from due date without penalty.
It is crucial that homework is done because it informs me and the student whether they learned the objective for that lesson or not.

 Participation during class is expected daily.

Test Policy
These will be given at the end of each Unit to assess what the students have learned. Unit Tests will be cumulative to prepare for Regents Exam testing at the end of the school year.

o Once testing has begun, there is absolute silence. If you have finished early, re-read each question, and check your answers. Some people take longer than others take, be respectful.

Quiz Policy
These will be given a couple times throughout each unit. They will be announced up to three days prior, unless it is a pop-quiz. These are meant for the student to find out what you need more work on before the Unit Test.
