The Hutch Tech Band is broken up into various ensembles: Concert Band, Jazz Ensemble, Advanced Jazz Band, and Jazz Combo. The Hutch Tech Band has been a fixture of Hutchinson Central Technical High School for nearly 100 years. Today the tradition of music continues under the direction of Ben Boyar.
